First woman from Odisha, Aditi Parida bagged the Combined Defence Services (CDS) II, 2019 examination. Recently, the result of CDS II 2019 was published, official sources said. The merit list carries a total of 241 candidates including 174 candidates who qualified the exam for Officers Training Academy, Chennai for Short Service Commission Course (NT) for men. Also, 67 candidates cleared the exams for Officers Training Academy, Chennai short service commission women (Non-Technical) course.
Aditi, the first woman to top CDS
Odisha born Aditi is the first woman to top the CDS examination. Now she will undego training for Army Officer. She has completed her graduation in mass communication from Symbiosis college, Pune. Also, she is the topper of her batch 2017- 2020.
Combination of intelligence, valour and elegance
Along with excelling in academics, Aditi is also a good classical dancer. She has performed in both Odissi and Bharatnatyam forms of dance.
Daughter of Army brigadier
Aditi is the daughter of an Indian Army Brigadier and also has the credit of being the national debate champion of the Army Schools in 2016. In addition to that, she is a very good volleyball player and has represented her university, sources said.
Serving Mother India is my dream: Aditi
“I was motivated to join the Indian Army since I was a child. As my father serves as a brigadier, I am born and brought up in an army atmosphere. Serving Mother India is the dream of my life “, said Aditi.
Aditi’s father stated that he is proud of his daughter.
Brigadier Voodev Parida, Aditi’s father said, ” My daughter is trained in all aspects of life. Also, she is a good orator. She is a topper in studies, a classical dance performer and a good sports person. She loves her country and I am proud of her”. Her father hails from Nadhara village of Odisha’s Dhenkanal district.
