Alumni Association of XISS (AAXISS) donated a Wheelchair to its Alma mater at XISS college Campus on December 17. Faculty, staff, and students of all five programmes were present in the courtyard of the campus during the event.
Acting Director of the college, Prof. Amar E Tigga, while addressing the gathering during the program said, “Alumni Association is donating a wheelchair to Xavier Institute of Social Service for any ill health scenario and it is an up-gradation in the medical facility of Xavier Institute of Social Service.”
He also said to the gathering of students that connect with one’s Alma mater is important as they all will also become alumni in the future. He thanked the AAXISS and its members for this gesture on behalf of the XISS family.
Alok Kumar, Secretary, AAXISS APEX said this donation is a small contribution to their alma mater and hoped that it helps someone in need.
Fr. Pradeep Kerketta SJ, Assistant Director, XISS thanked the alumni association for their generosity for helping the needy, sick and ailing.
