Many among you must of noticed that your own children or kids of your neighbour and relatives are not at the same level in school. When I talk of level I don’t mean academics alone. While some children are good in academics and sports some are mediocre. While their performance in academics and sports can be improved with training certain common problems apparently have no solution. The unexplained challenge that the students face in school can show up as poor academic performance, lack of motivation for school, loss of interest in school work, or poor relationships with peers or teachers. These unexplained problems often lead to poor academic performance, fight with other kids , stealing, stammering  and sometimes even poor health condition.


The main cause of these problems are stress and anxiety with hormonal imbalance.

Sit in vajrasana on a mat in an airy place. Ensure that the clothes you are wearing are loose and while practicing your stomach is empty .Take a deep breath through nostrils. Then breathe out through mouth with force and chuh chuh chuh chuh sound. With every forceful expiration (breathing out) bend a little to your front. Gradually touch the floor with your forehead by the last sound. Then breathe in and lift head. Repeat the process and do it for 5 to 10 times.
The force and vibrations have miraculous powers to boost immunity, bring change in hormonal imbalance. This can remove stress and anxiety. This is a wonderful practice for speech problem and stammering. It can reduce and cure bed wetting too. Kids will start doing their work themselves. It Increases self confidence and immunity.

Yogasanas are best calming technique for preschoolers. It can help them to build positive self image. It can improve their ability to balance .Holding the focus to stay in certain posture is specially good for kids as they are taking baby steps towards achieving self control.

Channelized breathing patterns described in pranayama can boost immunity of a kid so that they have full energy to fight with day to day problems. Pranayama protects them from upper respiratory problems. Which are the main concern in pollution full environment.

Some asana improve their strength immensely and correcting their postural problems. Some yoga postures are specific for special kids and autism spectrum disorders. Yoga helps kids to fight with stress.

Some additional techniques 

Yoga for kids typically includes songs games and other fun activities that motivates them to move together and learn from one another. This creates a positive engaging environment in which kids can have fun, talk to one another and learn to trust one another. This teaches them how to be mindful.

The practice of yoga helps to reduce stress and release negative emotions eventually Helping them to fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer.
