BIT Mesra to train CRPF

Ranchi: Birla Institute of Technology, (BIT) Mesra signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the CRPF-Central Training College (Telecommunication & Information Technology), Ranchi to provide training to the CRPF.

The MoU signed on June 16, 2021 aims at training CRPF soldiers and officials in the domain of telecommunication and information technology in the defense services

On behalf of the central reserve police Inspector General (Communications & IT)- Ravideep Singh Sahi Dy. Inspector General- Amit Taneja, Dy. Comdt.- Santosh Kumar, Dy. Comdt.- Sanjay Belwal, Dy. Comdt.- Vimal Singh, and Asst. Comdt.- Ujjwal Kumar Singh were present.

A recipient of the President Police Medal for Distinguished Service, Ravideep Singh Sahi, has made multi-faceted progress in the communication sector of CRPF, including the establishment of the National Canter for Divyang Empowerment (NCDE) at Hyderabad, and the launch of NIC e-Office.

CRPF was established in 1939 and has led successfully on many fronts. With the signing of the MoU, CRPF will get technical know-how that will help them in further strengthening the technical acumen of the men in uniform.

 

BIT Mesra will provide technical knowledge to CRPF that will help them to provide better security and safety to the country–

After signing of the MoU the institute escorted the guests from CRPF to visit the Departments of ECE, CSE & Remote Sensing and gave them a brief idea about the achievements and capabilities of the institute.
