CBSE announced the much-awaited Class 10th result on Wednesday, two days after class 12th results. The exams were held between 15th February to 20th March. This year, 18,73,015 students appeared, of which 17,13,121 passed. The pass percentage this year has increased to 91.46% by 0.36 in comparison to the previous year.

This year, Trivandrum witnessed the highest pass percentage with 99.28. Chennai and Bengaluru followed it with 98.95 and 98.23% respectively in the CBSE Class 10th result.
Students’ Say on CBSE Class 10th result
Ananya Mishra, who scored 98.4% said,
“I am happy but not satisfied. I expected more marks in English. However, the credit behind my success in the first public examination goes to my teachers, parents and the principal”.
“I have scored better, and now for further studies, I will choose the Commerce stream. The struggle is to start from here on; future career aspects and much more”, said Ayush. He has scored 83% in CBSE 10th.
Amit who scored 93% says, “I am happy and satisfied. Aspiring to be an Engineer,I have chosen PCM as my +2 subject”. He is a student of Vidya Pratishthan’s New English Medium School, Baramati, Maharashtra.
Gender-wise pass %
Data suggest that girls have performed better than boys by 3.17%. 93.31% of girls have passed, while the boys’ pass percentage is 90.14%. Also, 78.95% of transgenders have bagged the exam with flying colors.
Checking answer-sheets after CBSE Class 10th result
Students will be allowed to check their answer-sheets. They will have to apply to the link provided by the board. The time limit for applications is five days. The application fee is ₹500. The board will provide the link for the same two days after the declaration of the results.
Xerox copy of answer sheets
To get a downloaded or xerox copy of the answer sheets, the Board provides the link after 17 days of the announcement of results. Students of class 12th will have to give ₹700 while ₹500 for class 10th.
For the re-evaluation of the answer-sheets, the board provides the link after 21 days of the results’ declaration. The applicants will have to pay ₹100 for the same. CBSE will close the link on July 22 day at 5:00 p.m.
