Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC Board) has declared the result of class 10th (Matriculation) exams on Wednesday. The class 10th result was published on the official website. Students who had appeared in the class 10th examination can check their results on the official website at jacresults.com, jac.nic.in, jac.jharkhand.gov.in, jharresults.nic.in.
The exams were conducted in February
Around 3.8 lakhs students took the class 10th examination this year which was conducted from 11th of February to 28th February. A total number of 2.80 lakh students have passed the examination with a record of 75.01%. The performance of boys recorded to be better than girls with 75.88%, while 74.25% of girls have passed the examination. Manish Kumar Katiyar a farmer’s son and student of Residential High School, Netarhat topped the exam scoring 490 marks.
Talking to GYV, Katiyar said, “I have not expected that I would score such high. I used to study for 8 hours a day to score better in my board exams. I will opt for science stream (PCM) in intermediate.
JAC Class 12th results is expected to be declared by the month-end
According to the board, the evaluation process was completed last month, the results were delayed due to the lockdown. Meanwhile, the evaluation process of class 12th is yet to be completed and the result is expected to be declared by the end of the month. Around 6.21 lakh students took the class 12th (Intermediate) examination.
Students can apply for re-evaluation
Students who are not satisfied with their grades can apply for the re-evaluation process by submitting an application along with a few as mentioned by the board on the official website. Who have failed to clear the class 10th examination can appear for the improvement or compartment examination. The revised date sheet of improvement examination will be published on the official website.
Previous year performance record
Last year, a total of 70.87 students passed the class 10th examination and out of 4,41,605, around 1,67,916 students secured the first division marks. The performance of boys recorded to be better than girls with a passing percentage of around 73% in 2019 board exams. While around 68.67% of girls had passed the class 10th examination last year. However, 57 % of students had passed in the Intermediate examination of 2019.

2. Click on the class 10th results, 2020
3. Fill up the required credentials like name and registration number
4. The results will appear on the screen
5. Click on download to download the result or take a print out for future reference.

About Jharkhand Academic Council
Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) is a state-level Board formed on the 15th of November, 2000. The Council conducts Examination for Intermediate, Secondary, Madhyama, and Madarsa levels. The council also prescribes syllabus and textbooks to all affiliated schools across the state. The council usually conducts examination for secondary and academic standards in the month of March and declares the results for class 10th and 12th in May but this year due to the COVID – 19. So, the results are delayed.
