The Supreme Court of India has allowed National Testing Agency (NTA) to conduct the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) for the aspirants on 14 October for those who failed to appear for the examination held on September 13. Students failed to appear for the  examination either due to Covid-19 infection or students residing in containment zones could not appear in the examination. In its decision the Supreme Court of India also said that the NEET results 2020 for examination held on September 13 will be released on October 16, two days after the re-exam.

Exam guidelines 

 The exam guidelines released by the centre will continue. The precautionary measures are taken by government to conduct the examination. Candidates appearing for NEET exam should be aware of NEET 2020 New rules and Dress code for male and female so that they do not have to face any problem on exam day. NEET aspirants must follow New rules and Dress code strictly as prescribed by National Testing Agency. Detailed information about rules and regulations for NEET exams is given below.

NEET 2020 dress code

Candidates will have to wear slippers and sandals with low heels. The authorities will not allow closed footwear like shoes. Moreover they will not allow shoes with thick shoes and high sandals. They only permit light clothes with half sleeves. Candidates must not wear long sleeves. The authorities have banned clothing with large buttons. A;so, those who will wear specific attire for religious purpose will be required to report to the examination hall .

Items to carry

Aspirants must wear masks.
Candidates must wear hand gloves.
They need to carry personal hand sanitizer and the original copy of NEET 2020 admit card .
Identification proof( AADHAR card,voter ID or other government authorized document).

Steps to check NEET results 2020

 Visit official website  of NEET Result 2020
Click on the ‘NEET result 2020’ tab.
 Enter credentials, registration number and password.
Your NEET 2020 marks will appear on the page .

The official notice regarding NEET 2020 phase 2 would release soon on official website.

Candidates who qualify the medical entrance examination will be eligible to participate in the counselling round. The Directorate General of Medical Sciences on behalf of the Medical counselling committee will conduct the process of counselling for the admission to MBBS and BDS.
