On the 5th of October Paytm announced the launch of the Mini app store within the Paytm digital App. After tech entrepreneurs of India rallied for a national App store, they launched the Paytm Mini App store a day later. However, this is quite different. Here one will get the links provided in the App for the progressive web apps (PWAs). PWAs are light apps that can run within a web browser without installation. For the time it consists a few Apps. According to Gadgets Now they are planning to add 300 services in the coming days.

Paytm will also provide app developers with free payment avenues. This will include payment through Paytm wallet, Paytm Payments, Bank, and UPI. However, Paytm will charge an extra 2% for using credit cards. A dashboard is also given to developers for analytics, payment collection, and various marketing tools to get involved with users efficiently.
Paytm: Mini is in the Beta testing stage
According to Gadgets Now online news portal, the app is in the Beta testing stage. However, it is packed with a handful of apps such as Unit Converter, MojoPizza, etc. The company announced that over 300 app-based service providers have joined hands with the program. These apps are NoBroker, Ola, Netmeds, and more. Soon these apps will be available in the Mini App store of India. The portal gives direct access to the users to explore and use the app.
