Netizens and Instagram users are literally losing their minds on how Pope Francis liked a Bikini model’s photo on Instagram. Natalia Garibotto, the Brazilian model shared a photo of her wearing crop top, suspenders, stockings and showing off her curves on her Instagram account. Pope “liked” Bikini model’s photo allegedly
The Bikini model claimed that the pontiff’s verified Instagram account ‘Franciscus’ was among the 133,000 that liked her picture. However, all the social media pages of Pope Francis are run and managed by a team of staffers. So, it’s unclear who liked the picture and how it happened. Meanwhile, Barstool Sports, a user keeping an eagle eye on celebs posts, spotted the like. He then shared a screen-recording showing Pope’s Instagram name in model’s ‘likes’ section.
After the news spread, the Head of the Catholic Church swiftly unliked the picture. The Vatican has also launched a probe to clarify how the mismanagement happened.
Who is Natalia Garibotto?
Natalia is a Brazilian model followed by over 2 million people. She also has her own website where she keeps her fans engaged with all the unreleased contents. Her BTS clips, twerk videos and many more such posts are enjoyed by her followers.
On the incident, 27-year-old model revealed that she was flattered with Pope’s like. She wrote on IG, “My mum may hate my a** pics but the Pope be double-tapping.” Further she joked around with her followers and posted more pictures in which one had the caption, “Brb on my way to the Vatican. At least I’m going to heaven.”
Hilarious Reactions over Social media
One user made a tweet, “Now that’s my kind of Pope.” Another added, “My man just admiring God’s creation leave him alone.” One person wrote, “He’s just showing support to the Catholic School she obviously attends.” However many were upset and demanding the account to remove the ‘like.’ They were furious due to the nature of the picture.
