St. Thomas School Admission Forms are Out

Admission process for the classes of KG-l and KG-II for academic session 2021-22 have started with effect from 27.10.2020 in St. Thomas school, Ranchi. Both the branches, Dhurwa for KG-I and KG-II and Hardag for KG-I have issued guidelines regarding admissions on their official websites. There is no offline mode available this time.

Previously, last day to apply and submit applications was 01.11.2020 which has now been extended by the school authority to 03.11.2020.

Eligibility criteria of St. Thomas School:

St. Thomas school, Dhurwa-
Student’s age as on 1st April, 2021
KG-I : 3.5 to 4.5 years [01.10.2016 to 30.09.2017]
KG-II : 4.5 to 5.5 years [01.10.2015 to 30.09.2016]

St. Thomas school, Hardag-
Student’s age as on 1st April, 2021
KG-I : 3.5 to 4.5 years [01.10.2016 to 30.09.2017]

Admission Procedure of St. Thomas School:

1. Go to the official website of St. Thomas school or click on the link mentioned above.
2. Fill the required details and proceed with the Class you want your child to be admitted in.
3. This page asks for all of your necessary and legal documents. Upload a copy of the documents in the format asked.
4. Click ‘ Final Save’ after entering all the information.
5. Pay the amount online on the Payment page.
5.Don’t forget to take a printout of the submitted form.

Documents to upload:

A scanned copy of all the documents need to be uploaded for form submission.
1. Birth certificate obtained from municipality.
2. Passport size Photograph of the child
3.Passport size Photograph of Parents (Father and mother)
If single parent, upload any of one.
4. Address proof ( voter card/aadhar card/passport/ blank passbook/electricity bill)
5. Father’s  Last Educational Qualification certificate
6.  Mother’s Last Educational Qualification certificate
7. BPL candidates must upload BPL card
8. OBC/SC/ST Candidates must upload their respective caste or categories
9. ID card of sibling (if any)
10. Matriculation certificate of alumni, if an alumni of this school
11. Bonafide certificate from the priest of the local parish for Christian candidates

Important announcements:

There is no entrance exam this year. Shortlisted students instead will go through an interactive session. Date and timings of the session will be published on the school website on 04.11.2020.

Parents must fill the form and submit the hard copy to the school office with payment of ₹1000 on or before 03.11.2020. Those who have already made the payment online should not to bother about it. Their forms have been submitted.

Also, parents are requested to carry the originals of the uploaded documents for verification at the time of submission and interaction.

Educational Qualification Certificates of parents is a new addition in this session.
The school provides with an APL and BPL option n the form. This will help students from economically marginalized sections. School is giving concessions in their fee structure to students coming from weaker sections for their upliftment.
