Getting an administrative job is a dream for many job aspirants, some of them are able to crack while others are not that much fortunate. In India, for around one thousand seats every year, there are around ten lakh students who fill up the form for this competitive exam. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) civil services examination is regarded as one of the second-toughest competitive examinations across the world and the toughest examinations in India because of its immense competition and vast syllabus. But there are some victorious successful aspirants who cracked one of the toughest examinations and claimed to be youngest IAS officers in India.

1. Ansar Ahmad Shaikh

Ansar Ahmad Shaikh is a genius who cracked Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) CSE exam at the age of 21 years with an (All India Rank) AIR of 361. Ansar cracked the UPSC exam in the very first attempt. He was born on 1st June 1995, in a village in Jalna district, Maharashtra. Ansar completed his graduation in political science from Ferguson College, Pune.

Ansar Ahmad Shaikh’s father is an auto-rickshaw driver and his mother is a housewife. In an interview, Ansar said that due to financial crunch , his younger brother Anish worked in the garage and helped Ansar prepare for the UPSC exam. Ansar has always been very good at studies. In the class 10, he scored 91% marks. He is currently posted as the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) at the Department of MSME and Textiles, Government of West Bengal.

Tina Dabi

2. Tina Dabi

Tina Dabi is the first rank holder in the 2015 UPSC exam. She cleared the IAS exam in the very first attempt at the age of 22 years. Tina Dabi is the one of youngest people to have cleared the toughest UPSC exam in the country. She was also awarded a gold medal by the president of India. Tina Dabi was born in a middle-class family in Delhi. Tina completed her BA honors in political science from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University in the year 2014.

 

After completing the UPSC training she joined active service in the State of Rajasthan. Tina Dabi in TED talk shared that IAS is a gate to limitless opportunities of doing good to nation. She is currently posted in the Bhilwara district of Rajasthan as Sub-divisional Magistrate.

 

3. Roman Saini

Born on 22 July 1991 in a village in Kotputli town, Jaipur, Rajasthan Roman cracked UPSC CSE in the very first attempt in 2013 at the age of 22. Roman resigned from civil service at the age of 24 and founded Unacademy, which is an educational technology company based in Bangalore. Roman Saini is an Educator, Entrepreneur, Ex- IAS officer, Doctor, and a Motivational speaker.

Saini qualified medical exam for AIIMS at 16 and became a junior resident doctor. His father is an engineer while mother is a housewife. And now Roman Saini is giving back to the community through Entrepreneurial Edu-tech which makes up UPSC learning available for free.



4. Amrutesh Aurangabadkar

He scored the10th Rank in the UPSC examination at the age of 22 in the year 2012. Amrutesh is the son of the Deputy Director ofGroundwater Survey and Development Agency.

Amrutesh’s mother is a gold medalist in BA Economics. His sister is serving as an Indian Revenue Service Officer. Amrutesh completed his Bachelor’s degree in arts from Ferguson College, Pune. He has completed a diploma in National Security and Indian Relations. He is currently posted as the Regional Commissioner of Municipalities, Vadodara.

Pradeep Singh
5. Pradeep Singh

Pradeep Singh  secured AIR 93 in Union Public service Commission examination in his first attempt at the age of 21 in 2018. Pradeep Singh is from the Gopalganj, district of Bihar. His father is a petrol pump attendant in Indore and has faced financial problems for most of his life. He was allotted the Indian Revenue Services (Income Tax).
