The United Kingdom occupies an enviable position being amongst the best study destinations across the world. Several public and private universities provide thousands of UK scholarships to students to ease their stress on finances. Both the UK government and universities provide financial aid tools that are open for all prospective candidates who wish to pursue a full-time study course. UK Scholarships through the UK Government –

1.Chevening Scholarships –

The United Kingdom Government provides a global scholarship programme known as Chevening. This scholarship is open to all international students who meet the eligibility criteria. Moreover, Chevening eligibility criteria state that you must have applied at least three-degree courses in the United Kingdom and usually one year of Master’s courses. Also, the majority of Chevening scholarship pay for tuition fees, living allowance and more to cover other expenditures.

2.Commonwealth Masters Scholarship –

If you are from a Commonwealth country and you wish to pursue a Master’s degree program in the UK  then a Commonwealth scholarship will be the best for you. The United Kingdom Department for International Development (DFID) gives funding for tuition fees, exam fees and personal maintenance allowance.

3.GREAT Scholarship –

GREAT Scholarship is jointly funded by the United Kingdom government’s GREAT Britain Campaign and the British Council under the study UK campaign. It includes 99 postgraduate scholarships from 36 UK universities.

1. Gates Cambridge Scholarships –

If you are wishing to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree at the University of Cambridge. Gates Cambridge scholarship will cover all your expenses.

2. Rhodes Scholarship at the University of Oxford –

The Rhodes Scholarship is one of the world’s oldest international scholarship programmes and was set up in 1902. It offers scholarships at one of the most prestigious universities. In addition to that, it awards exceptional postgraduate candidates from certain eligible countries.

3. Edinburgh Global Research Scholarship –

The University of Edinburgh offers 30 scholarships to international candidates who wish to undertake a PhD research programme in any field of study. However, the scholarship lowers tuition fees to the rate given to domestic students. Also, it does not cover maintenance costs.

4. Denys Holland Scholarship at University College London –

If an undergraduate student from any country is not able to fund their studies at University College London, they are eligible for the Denys Holland Scholarship at UCL. As a result of the scholarship, the candidates will receive the US $ 12,870 per annum of their degree which can be used towards their tuition or as a maintenance loan.

5. Bristol University International Office Scholarships –

Each year, the University of Bristol offers five scholarships. It also gives scholarships for future undergraduate International candidates worth US $ 12,160.

6. University of West England Chancellor’s Scholarships –

Bristol’s University of West England offers several scholarships. It provides US $ 143,000 for international students. However, some of the scholarships may need you to undertake an internship alongside your studies.

7. University of Westminster International Scholarship –

The University of Westminster International Scholarship offers scholarships to students who wish to study in the UK. Moreover, it awards students to pursue a full-time Master’s degree in any subject area, except MBA. The scholarship gives free tuition, accommodation and in addition to that it also covers living expenses.

8. Developing Solutions Scholarships at the University of Nottingham –

If you are from a developing Commonwealth country and hope to study for a Master’s at Nottingham, Developing Solutions Scholarships will be best for you. However, each year, there are only 105 available scholarships in which 30 of them cover the entire tuition fees and the other 75 reduce the fee by subsidizing it by 50%.
